About Us

Holt Cottages is a business offering luuxury holiday accommodation in Norfolk Cottages in the beautiful Georgian town of Holt in North Norfolk.

The business is operated by the Whiffin family and the property offered is available all year round. We do not reserve any periods for personal use as we have a cottage of our own, where we live, in Grove Lane, Holt.

Our objective is to provide high standards in Norfolk Cottages accommodation and services to our guests, from the content of our welcome baskets, the bathroom toiletries, the condition of the private gardens through to the comfort of the furnishings and the level of the kitchen equipment.

Our aim is to reduce the requirement for advertising and marketing by way of having a following of returning guests and new personal recommendations from guests.

As a family we first came to Holt Norfolk on a regular basis as a result of family holidays taken within easy reach of our then home and business in Essex.

To our delight in North Norfolk we discovered a way of life we thought had gone forever and a small town where all of our day to day general needs from groceries to furniture and clothing could be met by simply walking to the shops. There are large supermarkets within reasonable distance if wished for but a major plus is that the town is within the delivery area for the Waitrose store at Swaffam or North Walsham.

We intend to remain as a family in the town and look to develop our Norfolk Cottages holiday accommodation business.

Whilst we may not actually be able to meet every possible requirement we are happy to hear from guests as to what they would wish for in a Norfolk Cottage and will do all we can to meet such requests.

We look forward to meeting new and old friends as guests over the years to come.
